In summer, nature beautiful and fruitful; it bursts, peaks its activity, and allows animals and most of the plants to breed and reproduce. The season lasts for more than three months in June, July, August and September. In the countries of the Southern Hemisphere the period starts in December and continues till March while it’s significantly colder, from May till October. Summer has warm and humid weather, especially in July and August. In some regions, excessive sun and high temperatures cause droughts and, in turn, many problems for wildlife and people. Even birds and animals try to rest in the shade at midday when it is unbearably hot under the summer sun. It often rains, although it happens less frequently than in autumn.
